About Karen Delgado

Karen Delgado is a successful, experienced HR professional who has led multi-disciplinary teams, enabling them to make significant changes in organisations. Her portfolio of achievements is extensive, and she has delivered effective strategic and operational solutions within a range of organisations including the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Karen’s achievements include Successful tenures as HR Director at Turning Point and Head of Strategy and Employee Services for London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Her professional responsibilities have included project managing a variety of business critical objectives, delivering innovative outcomes in workforce development, change and people management, planning reward and recognition procedures, and assisting with employee relations and TUPE.

As Director of DK HR Consultancy Limited, she has completed numerous contracts, including serving as Director of Organisational Change and Resourcing at Cambridge Education and as Head of HR at Buckinghamshire Learning Trust. She has delivered operational and consultancy services to schools and academies, including free schools, advising on TUPE transfers as well as advising CEOs undergoing complex employee relations investigations and casework, trade union negotiations, restructures and workplace mediation.

Karen has a wide-ranging skill set and is regarded as an outstanding communicator, influencer and implementer, known for her ability to quickly identify and diagnose business issues, in order to provide robust, well-tested and balanced business solutions. Her professionalism, integrity and passion engender trust with senior managers, staff and trade unions.
